NESBLY DNA ASSEMBLY TECHNOLOGY – PROOF OF CONCEPT
From May 2023-April 2024, GENEON & Cy.R.I.C undertook an R&D project (Cyprus-RIF project CONCEPT/0722/0082), to investigate a newly proposed DNA Assembly technology concept nicknamed NESBLY that aims to enhance the precision and efficiency of the DNA construction process.
In the project, the GENEON R&D team successfully demonstrated proof-of-concept experiments for the NESBLY technology. The team used the developed prototype cloning system to construct composite DNA molecules from input DNA fragments processed by the NESBLY DNA editing process.
